    Directed Energy to DC (DE2DC): The JNLWD will be participating in the Directed Energy to DC (DE2DC) Exhibition March 27-30, 2017 , to help educate decision makers and warfighters on Radio Frequency and laser directed energy weapons technologies and capabilities. The event will feature displays in the Pentagon courtyard Tuesday, March 28, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., and in the Rayburn House Office Building Foyer Thursday, March 30, 1-5 p.m. DE2DC is taking place in concert with the DoD's Directed Energy Summit, March 29-30, at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C. The Directed Energy Professional Society (DEPS) is sponsoring DE2DC and the High Energy Laser Joint Technology Office (HEL-JTO) from Albuquerque, N.M., is the host. February 21, 2017 - Airman 1st Class Sandra Zavalza is incapacitated as Staff Sgt. James Porter and Master Sgt. Michael Denenarro support her during a TASER demonstration training at Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado, Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017. All three Airmen 50th Security Forces Squadron defenders participated in the training to familiarize themselves with its effects.
February 14, 2017 - Multi-National Forces from 29 nations were in attendance during the official opening ceremony of the largest Theater Security Cooperation exercise in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region, Cobra Gold 2017, held at Sattahip, Thailand on February 14th.
