MCB Quantico - Over 40 representatives from Congress, the Dept. of Defense, Dept. of Homeland Security, National Guard, and other Non-Lethal Weapon Program stakeholders attended the Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate’s Non-Lethal Weapons Demonstration on Marine Corps Base Quantico, Wednesday, Sept 20, 2017. The Active Denial System, blunt-impact munitions, dazzling lasers, LRAD 100X Acoustic Hailing Device, static displays, and SQU.ID 410 Voice Translator were featured to illustrate how NLWs mitigate threats in support of DoD/ Interagency missions when deadly force is not the preferred course of action.
