40mm Human Electro-Muscular Incapacitation Projectile

The 40mm Human Electro-Muscular Incapacitation Projectile is designed to disable individuals. This technology has
the potential to support multiple missions including:

• Escalation-of-force continuum options
• Entry control points
• Crowd control/patrols
• Defensive and offensive operations

The projectile is a 40mm, non-tethered Human Electro-Muscular Incapacitation munition with increased distance and
duration of effect over currently available tethered devices. Related efforts are Harbinger and Disable Point Target programs.
The munition has been designed to be fired from M203 or the M320 Grenade launchers.
