Unified Combatant Commands

The Department of Defense Non-Lethal Weapons Program works closely with both geographical and functional Unified Combatant Commands to build cooperative relations across the globe and actively pursue opportunities to share non-lethal weapons information with partner nations.

Exercises and Training

Unified Combatant Commands host and participate in exercises with other nations each year. The Department of Defense Non-Lethal Weapons Program sponsors Non-Lethal Weapons Unified Combatant Command Liaison Officers to provide non-lethal weapons expertise during planning and execution of these exercises. The Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Program participates in many recent military exercises, including:

U.S. Combatant Commands Non-Lethal Weapons Liaison Officers

The Department of Defense Non-Lethal Weapons Program sponsors Non-Lethal Weapons Unified combatant Command Liaison Officers to serve as the Program's representatives in the field. Unified Combatant Command Liaison Officers work to raise awareness and visibility of non-lethal weapons in their respective commands. they also help identify specific needs for non-lethal weapons in the command and establish procedures for integrating non-lethal weapons into operational planning.
