Escalation-of-Force Mission Modules

Non-Lethal Capability Sets are versatile packages of commercial and government off-the-shelf mission enhancing equipment and munitions. Non-Lethal Capability Sets provide the warfighter with a variety of acoustic, optical distraction, blunt trauma, irritant, and vehicle stopping non-lethal options. Uses include access control points, checkpoints, convoy protection, vessel boarding, crowd control, and various other missions. The U.S. Army employs these sets.

Escalation-of-Force Mission Modules provide commanders with an improved ability to respond to situations with varying levels of non-lethal force by way of modular capability sets that can be tailored and scaled to fit missions down to the platoon/squad level. Escalation-of-Force Mission Modules expand upon the non-lethal concepts employed in the U.S. Marine Corps' previously fielded Non-Lethal Capability Sets. Module equipment groups include: Vehicle Control Point, Entry Control Point, Convoy Security, Crowd Control, Detain Personnel, Conduct Search, Clear Facilities, Conduct Cordon, Urban Patrol and Establish and Secure Perimeter. The U.S. Marine Corps employs these kits.
