The 81mm Flash Bang Fire Munition is designed to suppress individuals and will additionally be able to deny access into/out of an area to individuals and move individuals through an area. This technology has the potential to support multiple missions, including:
- Suppress enemy fire from civilian areas
- Move non-combatants from an area
- Make an area inhospitable to personnel
The 81mm Flash Bang Munition is an integrated flash bang counter-personnel, non-lethal 81mm mortar round. The munition produces temporary optical and auditory impairment.
